This webinar - presented by NERC - is designed to help Data Reporters submit data to the OATI webE-GADS platform. GADS is a database that maintains the history of generation and outages, and there are three types of data:  Design, Performance and Event. As of 2013, any conventional unit that has a name plate rating that is over 20 MW is required to submit GADS data to NERC.

Pre-registration is not required.

NERC/OATI webE-GADS Uploads - START OF EVERY YEAR

In order to successfully complete the 1st quarter uploads of your GADS data to the NERC/OATI website, you need to review and "confirm" your NERC contact and unit setup information on the NERC/OATI website (https://www.nerc.oati.com/NERC/sys-login.wml).  Your 1st quarter GADS data uploads are generally done during April-May of each year.

**** START OF EVERY YEAR ****

Must review Contact and Unit Data at the beginning of each year.

Open webE-GADS and go to Forms-->Checklist

Click on Contacts ... Filter for each region individually (Contacts tab will open) ... then Click REVIEW

GO BACK to Checklist tab (same region) Click on Units (Units tab will open) ... Click REVIEW

GO BACK to Checklist ... change Region and repeat Contact and Units Review

Open Forms-->Contact tab and filter each region ... Click REVIEW

Open Forms-->Units tab and filter each region ... Click REVIEW

(WATCH for reporting period 01/01/yyyy to 12/31/yyyy to make sure the REVIEW is for the current year about to be reported.)

NYISO Generating Availability Data System (GADS)

NYISO is pleased to announce that NYISO’s Training Team will be offering the, in-class, Generating Availability Data System (GADS) Seminar in April.
