GADS Open Source Version 12.07.31.0 Update

We have just posted to the websites GADS Open Source Version 12.07.31.0.  This is a mid-year update release.

Because this release includes minor updates, we recommend that you install this update if you are affected by any of the identified issues below.  There are no database changes required by this update.

Code Changes

Data Entry Admin Console 12.07.31.0

1. A new Global Settings tab has been added that allows the Event Verbal Description to be a “user-required” field.  If you choose this option and your GADS reporters do not enter a verbal description in DE, it will be flagged as an “error” by the software.  This does not affect your options when writing the 05/07 files to NERC or the ISOs.

2. Fixed validation bug for MB, IR, RU, CO and PU event type cause codes on the event edit form.

Analysis 12.07.31.0

1. NYISO MARS updates resulting from NYISO and Project testing.
2. Fixed a minor issue with deratings with 0.00 equivalent hours being inserted into the EventDetails table and showing up in reports.  


If you do install any of the above updates, we recommend a full update of ALL GADS/OS apps.
